The Philadelphia Slavery Era Business/Corporate Insurance Disclosure and Financial Reparations

The Philadelphia Slavery Era Business/Corporate Insurance Disclosure and Financial Reparations ordinance requires that any City Depository authorized to accept City deposits disclose to the public any profits derived from slavery or slaveholder insurance policies sold by itself or predecessor companies. If the depository has disclosed that it, or its predecessor, sold slavery policies or profited from slavery, the depository must provide the City with a statement of financial reparations.
